Cara A. Boyanowski: Attorney with Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP
Attorney Awards

“I work diligently to help solve my clients’ problems. I treat every case as if it was my most important case.”

- Cara Boyanowski, Partner

Cara represents clients in all aspects of family law, including simple and complex divorces, support, custody, alimony, step-parent adoptions, name change matters, wills and estate planning and guardianship matters. In addition to her family law practice, Cara is also a wills and estates practitioner. She represents clients in the preparation and drafting of their last wills and testaments, powers of attorney, and living wills.

Family law is a great fit for Cara, who is naturally sympathetic and a good listener. Not only is she consistently available to assist her clients with questions or concerns, but she can also offer a comforting presence and a hand to hold. She enjoys getting her clients through rough times and helping them start afresh.

In her free time, Cara loves to travel, read, listen to music, and attend classic car shows to see the muscle cars.

Cara has successfully handled numerous family law matters for her clients, including maintaining custody for a mother in a relocation trial against expert witness testimony to the contrary and guiding a same-sex couple through a complicated step-parent adoption proceeding. Her family law practice has led her to adjudicate matters before the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts. Her objective in every case is to achieve the very best outcome for her client’s, both emotionally and financially, so they can move forward, independently and strong, into the next chapter of their lives.

With regards to estates, Cara prepares the documents necessary to begin the probate process, as well as assists Executors throughout the probate and administrative process, from valuing and selling assets, satisfying debts, and preparing estate tax returns. Additionally, she assists clients with name changes and guardianship actions through various county Orphan’s Court divisions.
