  • Under a new Wisconsin law, a health care power of attorney document that has been validly executed on or after May 5, 2004, in accordance with the laws of another state is valid and enforceable in Wisconsin. The document must authorize the designated agent to make the same decisions for the principal that a health care agent designated in a valid Wisconsin document could make for a principal.
