  • On March 28, 2006, the Office of Inspector General ("OIG") of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services ("HHS") issued a new Advisory Opinion, No. 06-02, which finds problematic two programs proposed by a durable medical equipment ("DME") supplier ("Supplier") for the management and delivery of DME and orthotics in a physician practice setting.
