The first 23 years of Bryan’s practice were spent at a single firm that grew from 33 to over 400 lawyers. He formed Baker Williams Matthiesen in 2005 in order to provide the same quality legal advice in a more cost effective and client-focused environment. He has maintained his big firm clientele while expanding his client base to include start-up businesses and entrepreneurs who want to avoid big firm rates and staffing practices.
In addition to his legal practice, Bryan has a variety of outside interests. These interests include bicycle racing, brewing, and gardening. For many years he was involved in coaching and managing youth sport teams. He has been married to his wife Claire since 1981 and has three children, the youngest of whom is in college.
