Scott was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and received his B.A. from Auburn University in 1994. He then attended Cumberland School of Law where he received his law degree in 1998. Scott became an attorney in order to represent clients that were wronged by large corporations and businesses and has been fiercely fighting for justice over the past two decades. While attending law school, Scott worked at the Attorneys Information Exchange Group, fighting for those who had been harmed by dangerous and defective products, and he continued this service for thirteen years. Upon graduation, Scott continued to serve as Staff Attorney for this organization until 2010.
In 2011, Scott moved to Texas to focus his practice on representing consumers in products liability cases while obtaining both nationwide trial and appellate experience. He has since achieved numerous settlements for clients against some of the largest tire corporations in the nation in cases regarding defective tires and unsafe vehicles. His passion for protecting families and individuals from harmful products and corporate negligence and his commitment to ensuring product safety for consumers is what drives Scott’s practice each and every day.Scott is a frequent author and presenter on topics regarding product safety and trial practice. He joined The Ammons Law Firm team to continue his practice in representing plaintiffs in complex product litigation matters and is a licensed attorney in both Texas and Alabama.
