Prior to joining the firm, Leland worked as an intern at the Huntington Town Attorney's office. In law school, Leland also interned for the Honorable Jeffrey Arlen Spinner, Supreme Court Justice, Suffolk County.
2012: Suit in federal court for misappropriation of our client's money by business partners, culminating in six-figure settlement that represented 100% of our client's damages.
2012: Assisted a client in obtaining an accounting and buy-out of his LLC membership interests, without bringing a lawsuit.
2012: Won a motion for summary judgment on behalf of client real estate broker, establishing real estate broker's prima facie entitlement to its full broker's commission for work in securing a multi-million dollar lease.
2011: Corporate dissolution suit on behalf of minority owner of small business, resulting in our client being bought out for approximately $400,000.
2011: Along with lead trial counsel Gary Weintraub, secured a jury verdict in Nassau County Supreme Court completely exonerating our client from any responsibility in lawsuit alleged multi-million dollar damages caused by alleged attorney malpractice.
