Mr. Williams' transaction work has included representing buyers and sellers in stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures; representing the lender in several private investment and loan transactions involving follow-on warrants and profit participation rights; representing the buyer in the acquisition of distressed assets (including real estate) of a seller in bankruptcy; representing lenders in traditional financing transactions; and representing parties to merger transactions. Notably, Mr. Williams assisted with the analysis of due diligence related to the merger of Bradco Supply Corporation into ABC Supply Co., Inc. in 2010 as well as ABC Supply's acquisition of Norandex Building Materials Distribution, Inc. in 2015. He also assisted in the representation of ABC Supply in connection with the 2013 buyout of its minority shareholders and the related financing.
Hobbies & interests:
Outside of legal work, Mr. Williams enjoys spending time with his family, running and traveling and is an active member and lay leader in his church. He is also a founding member of the board of directors of B.U.D.S., Inc., an Alabama non-profit that assists families of children born with Down Syndrome by offering a variety of programs and services.
