  • Individuals applying for visas to Saudi Arabia from within the United Arab Emirates must submit their applications in person at a VFS Tasheel International Center, effective immediately. Saudi Arabian consular posts in the UAE do not accept visa applications, nor can applications be submitted to the typing centers that were previously authorized to accept applications.

The VFS Centers require visa applicants to make appointments online in order to submit their applications. Though the Centers provide walk-in service for an additional fee, walk-in applicants currently face significant processing delays due to heavy application volume.

Once the visa application is approved, an applicant can choose to pick up his or her passport and visa from the VFS Center, request the return of the passport and visa by courier or authorize a representative to collect the passport and visa. Representatives are required to present an authorization letter signed by the applicant.

Currently, the VFS Centers in the UAE are processing business visa applications in four to seven business days, though they are expected to reduce processing times as they acclimate to their new responsibilities. The VFS Centers are also expected to require biometric submissions in the near future.

The VFS Center in Dubai is located in the Wafi Mall.
