Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote’s Medicare Compliance Group is well recognized for their ability to effectively negotiate and resolve matters involving Medicare conditional payment liens. Our team assists clients across the country with verifying and resolving traditional Medicare Part A and Part B liens, Medicare Advantage/HMO (Part C) liens, and Medicare Prescription (Part D) liens.

Our approach to lien resolution ensures that our clients only assume primary payer responsibility for the accepted injuries in a given claim. Through critical evaluation of records and application of our Group’s knowledge of proper medical coding procedures, we are able to accurately ensure that all conditional lien demands are only for care within the accepted scope of the claim. Our experienced practitioners will also utilize all federal statutes and regulations to secure the greatest possible lien reduction for our clients.

When conditional payment matters cannot be effectively negotiated and resolved with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), we are fully prepared to pursue appeals on behalf of our clients through all levels of the administrative process and ultimately litigate these actions on behalf of our clients in the federal court.

  • Sponsoring a law student from Panama through the ACBA’s Hispanic Attorneys Committee to assist him in preparing his thesis on the differences in the systems of law in Panama and United States.
