Military and Veterans

Veterans Helping Veterans

Of the 25 million veterans living in the United States, over 900,000 reside in Pennsylvania. As such a large populace of our country, and due to the wide array of legal issues created by their unique circumstances, veterans have not benefitted from counsel specific to them. With the increased awareness of the specific needs for veterans, the members of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote’s (DMC) Military and Veterans Group, some of who are veterans, possess the legal expertise and, most importantly, first-hand understanding of service and duty. They know the challenges that soldiers and veterans face during and after their service.

Our attorneys have served across all branches of the service in World War II, Vietnam, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. They use their personal knowledge and experience as servicemen in providing skilled counsel on issues impacting veterans’ lives due to active service.

Dickie McCamey’s Military and Veterans Group Chair, Mark A. Fiorilli, served as a Judge Advocate in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for six years, as a prosecutor, defense attorney, legal assistance attorney, and as legal counsel to senior officers.

Mr. Fiorilli is able to assist active duty service members in adverse administrative actions (reduction in rank, separation boards, financial investigation of property loss, etc.), criminal investigations and trials, as well as providing everyday legal services, such as estate planning, family law matters, and business law.

Dickie McCamey is able to assist active duty service members and veterans in the following matters:

  • Reduction Boards
  • Separation Boards
  • Administrative Investigations
  • Criminal Investigations and Cases (Allegheny County Veterans Court)
  • Estate Planning
  • Family Law
  • Business Law
DMC Military and Veterans Group attorneys are here to help our veteran population receive the benefits of the trustworthy legal counsel they have earned and deserve.
