Attorneys in Procopio’s Corporate and Commercial Litigation group represent the firm’s clients in complex and high stakes business disputes. This group of experienced trial attorneys handles issues concerning the ownership, management and control of our clients’ businesses, helping our clients with matters of corporate governance or shareholder disputes or control issues in any form of business, including partnerships, limited liability companies or joint ventures. The attorneys in the Corporate and Commercial Litigation group handle a wide range of mission critical litigation - such as claims involving unfair competition, joint development agreements, trade secrets, indemnification, fraud and contracts of all types - that can significantly impact clients in any industry.

Litigation can impact many facets of a business and frequently benefits from industry specific experience. With that in mind, our Corporate and Commercial Litigation attorneys work closely with our clients’ top management. When needed, they team up with Procopio’s attorneys who specialize in other areas - such US or international tax, intellectual property, real estate, employment, corporate law or business transactions - to gain advantage in litigation, identify and minimize collateral harm (whether caused by litigation or the underlying disputes) and to help identify creative business solutions. Because of this client-specific focus and the close relationships and deep business knowledge which often develops from their work on litigation matters, some of our Corporate and Commercial Litigation attorneys continue to represent their clients in a more general capacity long after litigation ends.
