  • On September 26, 2006, President Bush enacted the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act ("FFATA") to reduce "wasteful and unnecessary spending" by requiring the Office of Management and Budget ("OMB") to establish a publicly available, online database containing "full disclosure of entities receiving federal funding."
