  • Despite its title, the Pension Protection Act of 2006 ("PPA"), signed by President Bush on August 17, 2006, affected more than just qualified retirement plans. The PPA enacts legislation that directly impacts both employer owned life insurance, commonly referred to as "EOLI," as well as charity-owned life insurance, often called "CHOLI."
