  • After failed attempts in 2006 and 2008, the Canadian government tabled before the House of Commons on June 2, 2010, Bill C-32, the Copyright Modernization Act. Bill C-32 builds on its predecessors, Bills C-60 and C-61, and proposes substantial amendments to the Copyright Act, which if passed into law, would be the first major changes to the Copyright Act since 1997.
