  • On August 15, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York ruled that an architect’s elevations of three houses were entitled to copyright protection, even though they were not sufficiently detailed to allow a builder to use them for construction (Scholz Design v. Sard Custom Homes).
