  • While we wait for the next steps of the European Commission, Federal Trade Commission and Department of Commerce on the current consultations on European and U.S. data privacy laws, the shift to cloud computing continues to loom large on the international data privacy agenda. Government agencies on both sides of the Atlantic have begun to provide guidance to public sector bodies on moving to the cloud, and industry and policymakers continue to focus on the need to reflect this technological shift in today‚Äôs legal frameworks.
