  • The given paper introduces some of the common issues in the arena of national and international Museum, Art, and Cultural Property law, including the Conflict of Laws problem and the issue of criminal sanctions for illegal artifact exportation. Important treaties, statutes, and common law on the subject are examined. Finally, a possible improvement to the current scheme of international laws is introduced for future discussion.
