  • Galip M. Selçuk is one of the founders of the firm.

    Mr. Selçuk specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial transactions, and financial restructuring. He has represented clients on both buy and sell sides in mergers and acquisitions of companies active in the banking, telecommunication, energy, pharmaceutical, insurance and food sectors. He assisted domestic clients in their private placements, as well as corporate and financial restructurings. He was actively involved in the privatizations of major state-owned companies such as Turk Telekom, Iskenderun, Mersin and Izmir Ports, and Eti Aluminum facilities. He drafted and negotiated project-specific agreements such as share or asset purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, consortium agreements, concession agreements, and energy purchase agreements.

    Mr. Selçuk also gained dispute resolution experience through assisting clients in resolving post-acquisition disputes and enforcing rights arising under share purchase and shareholders’ agreements as well as distribution agreements. He has been actively involved in real estate related privatizations, acquisitions and constructing projects. Mr. Selçuk is also a registered trademark and patent attorney and advises clients in connection with their industrial property registrations and intellectual property disputes in Turkey.
