Mark Hosemann joined the firm in 2010 after obtaining his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida. At Florida, Mark worked as a graduate research assistant to Professor Dennis Calfee and received the book award for Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates. Mark is a member of the firm’s Commercial Department, focusing his practice in the areas of taxation, corporate law, and estate planning. Prior to obtaining his Masters in Taxation, Mark practiced law in Charlotte, North Carolina with McGuireWoods LLP in the firm’s corporate and real estate practice groups. He remains licensed to practice in North Carolina. Mark obtained his J.D. at Vanderbilt University, where he served as student body treasurer, was awarded book awards for Secured Transactions, International Business Transactions, Constitutional Law, and Legal Writing, and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
