Kristine M. Scott is an associate who practices primarily in the area of wills, trust, estate planning and wealth planning. Ms. Scott advises businesses and individuals on asset protection, estate and tax planning and business and corporate matters.
Ms. Scott received her B.S. in Political Science from Florida State University in 2013 and her J.D., cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2016. During law school, Ms. Scott was a member of the Honors Society, Dean’s List and Dean Scholar. After receiving her J.D., she earned her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
Ms. Scott received numerous book awards while in law school including; Partnership Taxation, Summer 2017; Trusts and Estates, Spring 2015; Professional Responsibility, Spring 2015; and Lawyering Process for Transaction Practice, Spring 2015. She also authored a LL.M. tax policy paper, “Donating Dog Food and Section 170: A Means to Tackle the PTSD Epidemic.”She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Jacksonville Bar Association.
