Tyler Pettingill is an Associate in the firm's Jacksonville office. He practices in the areas of Catastrophic and Personal Injury, Construction Law, General Civil Litigation, Premises Liability, Trucking Accident Defense, and Vehicle Negligence for the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pettingill worked representing clients in Personal Injury cases and as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Clay and Duval Counties.
Mr. Pettingill earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management with a Marketing Emphasis from Brigham Young University-Idaho and received his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law with an Advanced Legal Research, Writing, & Drafting Certificate. Mr. Pettingill graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors in the top 3% of his class.
While at Florida Coastal School of Law, he was a member of the Florida Coastal Law Review as a Staff Editor, the Public Interest Research Bureau as a Board Member, Phi Delta Phi International Law Honors Fraternity, and the J. Reuben Clark Society. Mr. Pettingill was the recipient of Book Awards in several classes and was on the Dean's List in Fall 2011, Spring 2012, and Fall 2012 and a Dean's Scholar in Fall 10', Spring 2011 & Spring 2013. Mr. Pettingill also was recognized as the Law Review Best Editor of Fall 2012 and Law Review Notable Edit for Spring 2012.
Mr. Pettingill is admitted to practice in all State Courts within Florida
