Kelly L. Wright graduated from Vassar College in 1989 with a B.A. in Drama. She started her law career several years later as a certificated paralegal in Chicago. After drafting estate planning documents for a year, she moved to Florida to go to law school.Kelly received her law degree from University of Miami School of Law in 2000. While in law school, Kelly was an officer of the Business Law Review and Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity, a Peer Counselor, and participated in several charitable and theatrical events at the law school. She graduated magna cum laude in the top 20 of her class and became licensed to practice law in Florida. Kelly continued on for another year at University of Miami to receive her Master of Laws (LLM) in Estate Planning.After graduation, Kelly worked for a small boutique estate planning firm in Naples, Florida, before going to work with high net worth clients of Wachovia Wealth Management. She took a break to become a mother and then opened her own practice in Jupiter in 2007. In 2013, she joined Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP which is headquartered in her hometown of Binghamton, New York and continued to serve clients in the Jupiter area. In May 2017, Kelly decided to go back on her own and re-opened Jupiter Wills and Trusts, PLLC to continue providing clients with the level of service she prefers to give her clients.Kelly is a member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Section and the Elder Law Section. She is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. Kelly has received a peer review rating of AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell.Kelly enjoys practicing in the estate planning area because she has the opportunity to help people solve some of the most difficult questions they may face – what will happen when I die, and what will happen to my family. Each family situation is like a puzzle, and Kelly enjoys putting the pieces together.
