Kirk Presley is the founder and principal of Presley & Presley, LLC. He has represented victims of personal injury and wrongful death for almost 30 years. He is a 1980 graduate of Drury University and serves on that institution's Board of Trustees. He received Drury University's Distinguished Alumni Award for Community Service in 2009. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1983 and recently concluded his service on the UMKC Law Foundation as a Trustee and as vice president of development. He also received the Law Foundation's President's Award in 2007 and the Pat Kelly Service Award in 2012.
He is licensed in Missouri and California and limits his practice to significant plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death claims. His focus is in the areas of products and premises liability, with an emphasis on general aviation and insurance bad faith litigation. Kirk is a member of the American Association for Justice and its Product Liability and Aviation Sections, and is past chairman of that organization's Carbon Monoxide Litigation Group. He is also a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and has authored numerous articles in a variety of publications including Trial Magazine, The ATLA Aviation Section Newsletter, as well as MATA and KCMBA publications. As a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Kirk has been past chair of its Tort Law Committee and has delivered numerous CLE presentations on the subject of civil litigation and the representation of victims of personal injury or surviving family members.
Kirk has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of personal injury litigation since 2009.

- Former President and Board Member of the Bacchus Foundation, a charitable foundation for the under 40 age group that benefits a different charity each year.
- Trustee and Board of Directors for the LEAP Foundation, and elected LEAP Foundation Mardi Gras King for 2005 (Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance) which raises money to benefit Operation Breakthrough, a day care center for at risk children.
- Trustee and Board of Directors of the UMKC Law Foundation - UMKC Law School alumni and fundraising branch.

- Trial Lawyers Care - assisted 5 clients with claims before the Victim's Compensation Fund for the 9/11 attacks including one recovery in excess of $4 million.
