Meghan Ashworth’s practice areas include criminal law, family law, landlord/tenant, civil litigation, personal injury, collections, incompetency and guardianship, estate planning, estate administration, real estate, and business entity formation.

Meghan grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and graduated Manteo High School in 2003. She attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 2003-2007, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and a minor in Spanish. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University in 2013. Upon graduating from law school, Meghan passed the New York and New Jersey Bar Exams and moved to New York City, where she resided for three years. In 2016, Meghan passed the North Carolina Bar Exam and returned to Kitty Hawk, NC. She has been practicing law on the Outer Banks since October of 2016.

Meghan is currently a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the First District Bar, and the New York Bar.
