  • In a recent decision, Sanchez v. Carmax Auto Superstores California, LLC, a California Court of Appeal reversed a trial court ruling that declared an employment -related arbitration agreement unconscionable and invalid. The appeals court instead determined that the agreement was enforceable. While most arbitration rulings are fact-specific, the opinion provides instruction on many permissible arbitration provisions.
