He regularly advises on the taxation of upstream activity in the Nigerian oil and gas sector has advised extensively on the taxation of Production Sharing Contracts. He is part of the team which is currently advising a number of PSC Contractor-consortiums on various disputes with the Nigerian national oil company arising out of the operation of onshore, shallow and deep offshore PSCs. He has advised on the applicable and proposed fiscal regimes for the domestic gas sector in Nigeria and on the effects of the proposed Petroleum Industry Bill.
He advises foreign clients on tax and exchange control issues which impact inward investment, repatriation of profits and capital, operation of employee stock participation plans and other employee benefit schemes etc
