  • On July 20, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) released Field Assistance Bulletin 2009-02 ("the FAB"), which provided welcome relief for 403(b) plan sponsors with pre-2009 contracts and no employer contributions if good faith efforts are made to transition to the Form 5500 annual reporting and audit requirements.
