The bus accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon just before 1 pm when the two vehicles collided in front of the New Jersey Transit bus station on Springfield Avenue. Four men who were working on the garbage truck sustained varied personal injuries, too.
Commuter buses travel on a regular basis, and passengers rely on them for transportation to work and school. Unfortunately, the more often that buses travel on congested roads, the more likely they could engage in a crash, which may lead to injuries and even fatalities for occupants. In some cases, poorly trained or negligent drivers may fail to use caution and become involved in a serious accident.
