A woman sustained fatal injuries after an SUV struck her twice in Oakland, New Jersey. Around 9:45 am, on Wednesday morning, the pedestrian accident occurred when the 38-year-old woman and a friend were walking on the sidewalk of Thackeray Road, and the SUV backed out of the driveway and struck the woman twice. Her companion was also hit, but no information was available regarding the other victim’s status, and if the individual sustained any personal injuries.
