A 42-year-old man who was driving an SUV that was struck by the van sustained critical injuries and was flown to the Morristown Medical Center while the van driver required hospitalization for his serious injuries, too. Multi-vehicle accidents oftentimes bring about catastrophic injuries or even fatalities for any parties involved. These types of crashes usually stem from one collision that may spur a chain reaction of accidents. In some cases, distracted driving, speeding, or reckless driving around the original accident site may contribute to the additional accidents.
