• New Jersey Turnpike Truck Crash in Newark Claims Life
  • October 24, 2017
  • A truck crash occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike that left one of the victims fatally injured. On Tuesday morning, around 9:40 am, a multi-vehicle collision involving three tractor-trailers, including a dump truck, and two cars, took place near Exit 14 in Newark, New Jersey. In addition to the truck crash, a fuel spill saturated the highway, which caused hazardous conditions and required a clean-up.

When one or more trucks engage in a collision, the results could be catastrophic, especially on a congested highway. Not only could this lead to life-threatening injuries but potential fatalities as well for any drivers and passengers involved. Truck accidents may occur due to driver fatigue, intoxicated driving, speeding, and other factors.
