• Chain Reaction Crash Traps Man in Car in Toms River

  • A chain reaction crash, involving three different vehicles, occurred in Toms River, New Jersey around 7 am on Monday morning. The accident began when a minivan, driven by a 34-year-old woman, hit a sedan. After the initial impact, the 32-year-old man from Seaside Park, New Jersey, who was driving the sedan, slammed into the SUV of a 32-year-old man from Brick, New Jersey. The sedan driver became trapped in his car after the chain reaction crash, and required first responders to extricate him from the car. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of head injuries.
