A motorcycle crash with a car fatally injured the rider on Tuesday night. Right before 9 pm, the fatal accident occurred on Route 30 in Neptune Township, New Jersey. The rider succumbed to his fatal injuries at the scene of the motorcycle crash, and the collision is under investigation.
Although motorcycles are a popular way to travel, especially in warmer weather, they put cyclists at-risk for incurring a range of personal injuries as well as the possibility of fatalities. Due to the lack of safety features, and the open nature of the vehicle, riders are much more vulnerable in a motorcycle accident than drivers in other motor vehicles. Even if the cyclist survives the crash, the victim may experience lifelong mental trauma and debilitating injuries.
