• Annual Report or Audited Accounts Required for Work and Residence
  • July 4, 2017
  • Effective immediately, the Ghana Immigration Services will begin enforcing the requirement to submit an annual report or audited accounts of the previous year for Work and Residence Permit applications. This is part of the effort by immigration authorities to promote compliance with all statutory requirements.

    Background

Although the requirement to submit an annual report or audited accounts of the previous year has always been in place, it was never strictly enforced. It is common practice for companies to have their financial accounts audited by an independent auditor, and these are usually available on record.

What This Means for Employers and Foreign Nationals

Sponsoring employers should ensure to have an annual report or audited accounts of the previous year at the time of submitting Work and Residence Permits applications.
