• Rising Sun Church Bus Crash Injures Four Children
  • September 21, 2017
  • Four children sustained personal injuries in a church bus crash that took place in Rising Sun, Maryland. Around 8:45 pm, on Wednesday night, the accident occurred involving a bus, which contained six occupants including the bus driver, and an SUV. The SUV and the bus collided at the intersection of Northeast Road and England Creamery Road. After the church bus crash, the children were taken to the Union Hospital for treatment.

Bus accidents may occur for several reasons, including driver negligence or fatigue. Since buses lack the same safety equipment as other vehicles do, they offer less protection to drivers and passengers when they crash, which may lead to personal injuries and potential fatalities. If buses are not properly maintained, faulty equipment may contribute to a crash.
