A pickup truck crashed into a state vehicle on Wednesday night, leaving the driver with fatal injuries, and the state worker with physical trauma. Around 9:45 pm, the truck accident occurred in Woodlawn, Maryland when a pickup truck rear-ended a state truck on the inner loop of Interstate 695. Although the worker was released from the hospital after receiving treatment, the driver succumbed to his fatal injuries at the Northwest Hospital.
Evening vehicle accidents may occur due to the lack of visibility and also potential drowsy driving. When a truck collides with another vehicle of equal size, the results could be dire for the occupants, causing personal injuries or even fatalities. In some cases, driver negligence may be a contributing factor to a crash as well as speeding and distracted driving.
