A falling cargo container fatally injured a man at the Packer Marine Terminal in South Philadelphia on Monday afternoon. Around 12:30 pm, the incident occurred when a cargo container fell onto the pickup truck of a 52-year-old male employee and caused the fatality. Apparently, the equipment that lifts large shipping containers accidentally knocked over one of the containers, which ended up landing on the truck. OSHA, the police, and the fire department responded to the accident.
