Upon impact, the bus flipped over, landed on its side, which caused bus occupants multiple injuries. Ten bus crash victims were treated for minor injuries at the Lehigh Valley Health Network. No information was available on the eight remaining passengers.

Although buses carry passengers on a daily basis and are a reliable form of transportation, when a crash occurs, especially with another large vehicle, the results may be catastrophic. The impact alone may cause personal injuries or fatalities for multiple individuals. Many times, bus crashes are caused by bus drivers engaging in negligent or reckless driving.
