Early on Thursday morning, a motorcycle crash on the Schuylkill Expressway fatally injured a man. Around 2:50 am, the accident occurred involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in the Grays Ferry neighborhood of Philadelphia. At the scene of the motorcycle crash, the rider succumbed to his fatal injuries. No other information was available about the other motorist or the cause of the accident.
Motorcycles provide very little protection or safeguards for riders, so that when a crash takes place, riders may incur serious injuries or even fatalities. If they do survive the accident, motorcyclists may endure debilitating injuries that disrupt their ability to earn an income. Unfortunately, motorcycle accidents are quite common because other drivers oftentimes fail to yield to the riders or engage in reckless driving while around the bikes.
