  • I graduated law school in May of 2016 and passed the Florida Bar in August of 2016. My time as a lawyer has been extremely short, but I am in a great position to tell the class of incoming attorneys what I consider to be the most valuable lessons I've learned thus far. (This was tweaked by a seasoned attorney, so now you can probably trust it.) In law school, I was an ambassador and a tutor for the class below me, so I made a lot of relationships with those who are just graduating. Lately, I have received questions about my first few months and what advice I have for them as they start. At first I would give them mechanical answers such as:
