• United States Supreme Court Declines to Hear IndyMac Appeal

  • On September 29, 2014, in an unexpected development, the US Supreme Court reversed course and decided not to hear an appeal in the IndyMac securities class action. The Supreme Court initially agreed to hear the plaintiff’s appeal in IndyMac to resolve a split between the Second Circuit and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals with regard to the timeliness of investors’ claims under the Securities Act of 1933.
