  • On April 30, 2014, the Supreme Court of the United States heard oral argument in Limelight Networks, Inc. v. Akamai Technologies, Inc., No. 12-786 (April 30, 2014). A principal issue in this case is whether the Federal Circuit erred in holding that a defendant may be held liable for inducing infringement under 35 U.S.C. § 271(b) even though no single entity has committed direct infringement under § 271(a).
