Served as Law Clerk to Chief Justice Carleton Harris, Arkansas Supreme Court; Appointed Assistant Attorney General, Litigation Division and Deputy Attorney General in charge of Civil Litigation for the State of Arkansas. Current and former board memberships include Central Arkansas Library System (President and Vice President); United Cerebral Palsy (Telethon Chair); Pulaski Academy (the state's largest independent, co-educational, and college preparatory school); and University of Arkansas School of Law Board of Visitors. He is recognized for his expertise in the area of administrative law and insurance regulation in The Best Lawyers in America. He and his wife, Denise, have two children, and are active members of their church.
