Saulius is a Senior Associate with Foley, Baron, Metzger & Juip. His primarily focus is representing hospitals and health professionals in the defense of complex medical malpractice and products liability claims. In addition, Saulius represents clients in general negligence, employment and premises liability matters.

Before joining Foley, Baron, Metzger & Juip, Saulius worked as an associate for a well-known personal injury firm in downtown Detroit, specializing in medical malpractice claims. He has litigated medical malpractice cases across the state of Michigan. His experience working on both sides of medical malpractice claims has given Saulius a unique and deeper understanding of the litigation process. In addition, he has represented clients in first and third-party no-fault cases, premises liability, employment and general negligence matters.

Saulius graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor for the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. While in law school, Saulius clerked for the Honorable Stephen Frazzini in Connecticut Superior Court. He worked as a summer associate for a general practice firm in Exeter, New Hampshire, where his experience included criminal defense. He also completed an internship with the Connecticut Attorney General's Anti-trust Department.
Saulius is a member of the Negligence and the Health Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan, and a President Emeritus of the Catholic Lawyers Society of Detroit. Additionally, he sits on the Government Affairs and Membership Committees of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management (MSHRM).

Saulius is happily married, raises chickens at his home in the country, and is a connoisseur of root beers. He loves all things maize and blue (for his alma mater, the University of Michigan) and is an avid Michigan football fan.Saulius loves music and is a rocker of guitars. He has written and released numerous albums with his band, The Champagne Saints, which tours in the Detroit and Chicago metropolitan areas. His newest pastime is carpentry. As an amateur carpenter, he specializes in crafting rustic furniture such as barn-wood tables, headboards and benches. Saulius is also fluent in Lithuanian and active in the local Lithuanian community.
