Christopher “CJ” Lee is a zealous advocate for employee rights. CJ has experience in discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims.
CJ received his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2016, and his B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. Prior to law school, he worked at Asian Americans Advancing Justice with Julie Su, the California Labor Commissioner, successfully representing Filipino employees in a national origin discrimination case involving an “English only” policy enforced at the hospital. While in law school, CJ served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the Honorable Dolly M. Gee. As a law student, CJ worked at other plaintiff-side employment litigation firms and gained valuable experience as a member of a litigation team that took Equinox to trial for wrongful termination, retaliation, and misclassification claims. CJ was also a staff member for the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. He joins Alexander Krakow + Glick LLP as an associate after spending over a year at a boutique law firm that represented both employees and employers.CJ is a Los Angeles native and spent time after college coaching AAU and high school basketball. In addition, he co-founded Bowld, a Southeast Asian food pop-up and delivery service. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, eating, watching sports, and playing basketball and golf.
