Jack Breslavsky is a Partner in the Law Firm of Hinden & Breslavsky. He was born in Russia, and originally emigrated from Russia to Israel. After living in Israel, he immigrated to the United States. He if fluent is Russian and Hebrew, and has used his unique perspective as an immigrant to help the plight of many injured workers.
Jack Breslavsky graduated from California State University at Northridge, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He was honored for his academic achievements by appearing on the Deans’ Honor List throughout his attendance at the university. He has obtained his legal degree from Southwestern University School of Law, which has provided him with an opportunity to network with many legal scholars in our community. He has also helped serve his community by volunteering his time with Bet Tzedek Legal Services, an organization that provides underprivileged people with legal representation.
Jack Breslavsky served on the Board of Governors for the California Applicants Attorney’s Association, which has been fighting for the rights of injured and disabled workers for decades. His assignments on the Board of Governors include the Media Chair, which is responsible for bringing the plight of injured workers to the attention of the state legislators and the public at large. He is also serving on the SB 899 Committee, and SB863 Committee which are both dedicated to fighting the draconian changes that created severe restrictions on medical treatment, temporary and permanent disability benefits for injured and disabled workers. Many of the changes started taking place in the middle of 2004 and 2005, and many additional changes continued to take place after 2013.Jack Breslavsky has championed the rights of injured workers by taking the fight on many adverse decisions and unfair laws to the Workers’ Compensation Appeals’ Board and the appellate courts. He helped shape many decisions that helped provide benefits for injured workers. He also dedicates his time to lecturing to other attorneys and judges at seminars and various educational institutions on subjects relating to workers’ compensation.
