With a strong belief in the importance of community and civic responsibility, Lauren has always sought opportunities to extend a hand and lead through serving. Her passion for these values in turn led her to pursue a degree in Legal Studies at the University of La Verne. In her time spent there, she competed with the varsity debate team and participated in many competitions at places including Claremont McKenna College, Yale University and The World Universities Debating Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.
Throughout her undergraduate studies, Lauren volunteered at The Community Self-Help Center in Pomona, California where she serviced community members with regard to unlawful detainers and family law. In 2008, Lauren graduated with cum laude honors and returned to her alma mater to pursue a Juris Doctorate. She graduated from the University of La Verne College of Law in 2011 and has been a member of the California Bar Association since 2012.Lauren is also a member of The Los Angeles and San Bernardino County Bar Associations. She is an active member of the Social Justice Advocacy Project, and a board member of Allison Holdings, Inc. She has over six years of legal experience with family law, estate planning and criminal law.
