Lawrence Borys is a 1974 graduate of the UCLA School of Law. In his 44 years of practice, he has acquired expertise in a wide variety of litigated matters including professional liability (with particular emphasis on insurance agents and attorneys), insurance coverage and bad faith, product liability, employer liability, employment issues, and construction defect litigation. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and judgment in these and other areas of law. Many of those cases have resulted in significant and important appellate decisions.
Mr. Borys provides counsel to selected clients both on litigated and non-litigated matters, in industries as diverse as the insurance, restaurant, hospitality, and construction businesses. His legal training and years of professional experience in an active practice, have given him the knowledge from which to assist his clients with their smallest issues as well as matters of considerable importance to their respective businesses. At the same time, Mr. Borys understands the need to provide that assistance at a fair and reasonable cost and expense. This practice philosophy has helped him to sustain some client relationships for more than 30 years.
