EXPERIENCE

Maureen C. O’Hara is of counsel in our Los Angeles office. She has rejoined RMKB after 12 years. She focuses her practice on business litigation, employment law, catastrophic injury and elder abuse. Over her career, she has also litigated insurance bad faith matters, products liability and toxic tort cases.

After leaving RMKB as a partner, she explored other avenues of law and became the managing attorney for Safeco Insurance Company’s Long Beach office. Thereafter, she focused her practice on employment law in cases ranging from harassment, discrimination, wage and hour and class action litigation from both sides of the fence, eventually establishing the employment law department for Pearlman, Borska & Wax before a brief sabbatical in Texas and Colorado. Ms. O’Hara has come full circle and returned to her native Los Angeles where she intends to remain.

Ms. O’Hara graduated magna cum laude and received her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her J.D. from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento, California in 1991. She is admitted to practice in all California Courts of Appeal and Federal Courts.
