Biography

Ted Liggett serves as the founding partner at Liggett Law Group, based in Lubbock, Texas. Through his nearly 20 years of legal experience, he has focused on helping those who have been injured through the negligence of others. From auto accidents to product liability and wrongful death, Mr. Liggett has experience in nearly every area of personal injury law.

Mr. Liggett studied political science and English at Southern Methodist University, where he was named to the Golden Key Honor Society. He then pursued his law degree at Texas Tech University School of Law, during which he won the Advanced Mock Trial Competition and placed 3rd at the National Competition with his Trial Advocacy Team. He was one of three students to the named to the Board of Barristers Society when he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1994.

As an active member of the legal community, Mr. Liggett is a member of numerous organizations, including the Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Among his most notable cases, Ted has represented clients as diverse as the Anglican Diocese of N.W. Texas and Texas Tech Coach Mike Leach.
